Kasteel White Dorpers
In 1970, at the young age of 7, Dries started this White Dorper Stud, widely known as Kasteel White Dorpers. The stud grew remarkably and by 2010 it has received over 30 National and World Championship awards. In 2006 and 2010 Dries and his stud was named the most successful exhibitor (Breeder of Champions).
This famous Kasteel Stud Ram auction began in 1991, which was the first of its kind in the country. This sale was very successful over the years and in 2011, it was the 20th auction at Kasteel.
The stud was also the first White Dorper stud to export embryos. The first embryos were exported in 1992 to Canada, and since then it were exported to Brazil, Australia and Switzerland.
